well the weather does not seem to be in favor of a picnick tomorow. I am going to play this one by ear my wife is sick and I don't want to come alone if it is cold and rainy I am going to pass
Awwwww, jimmyd, I was going to pick your geocacheing brain. Will miss you tomorrow! Sorry to hear your wife is sick; hope to catch you both next time!
OK, so the weather may not be great, but that's no reason for the rest of us not to party like it's 10 years after 1999! We're still on and hope all of you are too!
Gotta get to bed early so we can get up and go to Rochester so we can cruise by where we are tonight. Explanation at 11--tomorrow!

yeah i reeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllly wanted to link up with you all maybe next event we wont be party poopers. As far as geocaching you and i can link up some time separate and talk about it. Ted
The odds are stacked against me...after getting already to head out something happened that prevents me from having fun. boohooo. Looks like I'll be spending the day with my other family instead of dancing in the rain.
The weather ended up being alright, and we had a great time today! Grey Poupon's family wins the most adorable family of all time award, Cammie was a great pal (as usual), and the scenery was great. I enjoyed meeting some new Club members (BeeArrGee, JC55MINI, Grey Poupon, and forgive me if I missed anyone, and welcome to the MINI family). We have so many left over donuts; it's truly a shame, but I'll make my coworkers happy tomorrow. VeganBrian is the best free entertainment around! Hope to see you all at next year's event....

We had a great time! I think the worst of the rain was at the beginning & the end of the day, and it cleared up enough to enjoy how beautiful Letchworth Park is. Thanks to Kim & Jill for putting it together, and to Holly for keeping track of the food! (Safe to say, no one walked away hungry!)
Oh, and Brian wanted me to emphasize how good Grey Poupon's chili was, and how he wouldn't mind receiving the recipe at some point.

I will get some pics up shortly but wanted to say we had a blast and are already planning next year's event (as in, let's do it again in a year or so)!
Gc3, we are bummed you didn't make it. Your message is a little cryptic but it doesn't sound good. Hope everything's OK and that we'll see you soon! jimmyd, sorry it didn't work out for you but hopefully there'll be time for one more gathering before the snow flies. Hope your wife is feeling better now.
Next up...the Toy Drive!

Great time as expected even with less than perfect weather. Nice to meet even more MINI people. Deb will definitly like the family photo thanks to Dumpandrun. Thanks for planning the event Kim and Holly for the logistics Do you have the list started for who is bringing what for next year?
My camp definitely had a good time. It was nice meeting everyone. I'm glad you liked the chili. I usually do the cooking for group events and my ego would like to take full credit, however Carla did the cooking this time and she too thanks you for the kind comments.
My son Gage has been a car enthusiast since he was 3. His third favorite car is the Mini Cooper which influenced my car buying decision somewhat. Needless to say, he had a ball yesterday. We're all looking forward to the next event.
I've got some pics that I'll post up a little later.

You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!
Hey all, sorry I had to cut out early! My dad was supposed to bring some stuff up for a speech I had to present today, but got one of the things mixed up so I had to go home, get it, and make it back to Rochester for my 5pm volleyball game. Looks/sounds like the rest of it was fun, though, and the food was good! Had toooo many donuts, though, haha. Those Schutt's were really good!
Looking forward to the next meet, and for next year's picnic (hopefully I'll be able to stay the whole time)!
If the MINI is Gage's third favorite car, what cars rank as 1 and 2?

Jim, those are a great set of pictures! Glad you and your pod joined us and hope to see you again soon! Grey Poupon and Charlie Croker--good to have you too. Sorry you had to leave early CC, but you know what they say; it really IS hard to get good help these days!
By the way, the way the wind blew here yesterday, we probably picked the right day for the event. We're hoping to go to Letchworth again on 10/10 for what I hear is an amazing art show / sale. I wonder if there'll be any leaves left by that time...
