Good morning, all,

Well, we FINALLY (somewhat) nailed down our itinerary for Brick City Homecoming... We are driving up on October 4... and driving home on October 9th...

As of right now, Saturday the 7th is esentially booked solid with stuff going on at RIT... Sunday evening we are meeting up with other friends...

So, who is up for Jeremiah's (WINGS) and Abbott's on one of the other nights? Make a suggestion as to what works for everyone... Wednesday or Thursday night, since Jeremiah's doesn't do wings on Fridays...

Just let us know... looking forward to a great night with Mini-folks...

Bummer- I have to work Wed & Thurs evenings. I was supposed to be going to a high school reunion on Saturday, but I think I have missed the deadline for sending in my reservation. I'm off Friday, but going to Jeremiah's with no wings seems silly. :) Will let you know about Sat.

OK, I've checked and I missed the registration deadline for the reunion. So I guess I'll have to drown my sorrows with some chicken wings. And maybe some frozen custard to top it off. What time is good?

For you Buffalo folks, these chicken wings are worth traveling for! :D

Good Morning,

Well, unfortunately, Saturday the 7th does not work for us at all - most of the Homecoming activities at RIT are on Saturday, and we are booked solid until about 10-ish (pm) on Saturday.

[BTW - for what it is worth, I called Jeremiah's because I seemed to recall getting wings on Fridays at some point... They DO serve wings on Fridays, BUT only until 5 pm... I must have had them for lunch at some point while working at Harris...]

This won't be our last trip up so we will have to try catch everyone on our next trip...

Hope you guys can figure this all out, and have a wonderful time...

Hmm, I'm off on Friday, if you want to go before 5 pm.

I'll hold off on making a real WNY dinner plan for Jeremiah's until we can plan it better (unpacking almost done, or at least as much as I'm going to do for now!)

This could work - just let me check with Paul - he is out slot car tonight... We were talking about doing lunch on Friday at Jeremiah's - could make it a 3-ish deal, followed by Abbott's...

Cool! And it looks like I may be going to my HS reunion after all... Looks like there might even be people there I'd like to see, even if some of them are (gasp) teachers!

I went to the School Without Walls for its first 2 years. We voted on all the rules, and the student's votes counted as much as a teacher's. Their rules have changed from the early days, according to the state education guidelines, so I don't think it's quite as much fun now as it was then. We spent most of our days roaming the city going to classes in places that would allow us to have classes there. (There were 3 rooms in the actual school building, which was over a factory on Elton St.) So, that's why I have a good sense of direction driving in downtown Rochester. It's where I spent my formative years.

Mmm, chicken wings! I don't think I have gone directly from Jeremiah's to Abbott's before, but it does sound like a good idea!

OK - so this is a go for us!!!

Be at Jeremiah's on Friday afternoon, October 6, 2006, around 3:00 pm

Afterwards, on to Abbott's - which one should we motor to? We should decide ahead of time to let everyone know so that if they can't make it to Jeremiah's, they might make it to Abbott's for "Desert First!!!"

Hey Everyone,

Well, we have finalized our "Move the Daughter-Unit Out of RIT's Dorms" run, and have scheduled the ever-vital trip to Jeremiah's followed by Abbott's... Here are the details for anyone interested in joining us...

We will be at Jeremiah's on Thursday, May 24th, at 6:00 pm, until probably 9 or so... after that, we will motor to an Abbott's (default being W. Henrietta Rd.) Unfortunately, we will not be driving either of our MINIs, but will be driving the Saturn (for obvious reasons).

Anyone who wants some good wings hungry.gif and adult beverages beer.gif is welcome to join us... Looking forward to seeing everyone again...

Unfortunately, this trip is a quick one, and Thursday night is about the only night we have free, and we really only have one afternoon and that is already booked.

We probably won't get into town until between 3 and 4 tomorrow (Thursday). Friday we have to get Nicole's fridge, visit a friend in Irondequoit to pick up a couple of boxes of slot car stuff we are delivering to Paul's brother here, and then we visit my best friend in Hilton (they are babysitting the fridge for the summer.) Saturday, Nicole has to be out of the dorms no later than 10 am, and then we are hitting the road... Wish we had more time, but we don't want to be driving around town with all of her stuff in our cars...

With any luck, we may make another trip up over the summer...

I think we can definitely plan the next one for some post lunch afternoon. I'm hoping to be off the weekend of June 30th but won't know for a while yet.

Paul & Nancy may be delayed today, so if anyone was planning on coming to Jeremiah's this afternoon, post here & I'll keep you posted on the time!

We should do Abbotts before Jeremiah's! Dessert before dinner, I always say. That, and I have coupons for Abbotts! Ah well, perhaps next time!

BUMP - it is that time of year again when we will be helping Daughter Unit get back up to RIT...

That means yet another trek to Jeremiah's followed by Abbott's.  hungry.gif  beer.gif  clap.gif

For those of you that can make it, we will be at Jeremiah's at 7pm this coming Monday [August 27, 2007].  When we finish up we will then head out to an Abbott's for desert...  [Sorry for the short notice - just finalized our plans...]

Everyone is welcome - just give us an idea if you will be making it so we get a large enough table...
