The other day my husband was asking about the MINI rally...I knew it would be coming up soon if the club was going to have one this year...I "googled" WNY MINI and what do I find...a new home COOL Its nice to "see" everyone and read up on whats been going on. So anyway, I thought I'd pop on and say HI!
Hello Sue! Glad to see you made it. The club lost its old membership list when the old messageboard went down.. so we lost a few along the way.. either way, it's glad to see you back.
No worries, things in my life have been nuts anyway...changed jobs like 3 times, sold my house, (had to find homes for all the cars) moved into an apt complex, in the process of building a new home (with a huge garage), traded the 02 for an 06 MINI, Ron's been drag racing, etc...it's been a wild ride for the past 6-9 mo.
I was really glad to find the site, I missed not knowing how everyone was, how things were going, (Laurie- sorry to hear about your ankle). Kind of feels like coming to a family reunion, except I like everyone here
Egads! Since you've been gone, well, I started up the new messageboard, and well... ummm... I now have landscaping (for the first time since the wife and I bought the house about 3 years ago), but umm... not much, considering...
Couldnt make the rally, Ron was drag racing Friday nite so we didnt make it home until around 1:00 am, and in the "Life Happens" category, one of his friends broke at the track so we had to go save a "pony". But maybe I can make the next outing...would love to see everyone.
See what I mean about my life being nuts...I thought it was last weekend!! so now I just need to see about a partner for the rally and hey you never know!
