Hi, I'm Paul and I'm new here.

I own a 2009 JCW in Chili Red with Black bonnet stripes. The PO had ordered her with every performance option available, but didn't bother with any other options. So I have a track car for the street.

The good news is that all my friends are in love with my car! The bad news is that she doesn't even have a car alarm...

In any event, I'm looking forward to any upcoming meeting and events. Maybe I can finally name my Mini!

(P.S. : Yes, I am in high school, and 17.)

Hey there!

 

I met my new baby last weekend, and picked her up just in time for this weekend! She's an '09 Nighfire Red Cooper w/ White roof and bonnet stripes. 

Mini

 

So far, she has reminded me how much I used to love driving! :) I can't wait to get to know other Mini drivers in the area!

Hi, I just discovered the group. My name's Nick and I'm also from the Greater Rochester Area. 

I have a '09 British Racing Green JCW Mini Clubman with a silver roof and racing stripes (wow that's a mouth-full).  I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie so I was a little apprehensive going from a RWD Supercharged V8 to a FWD Turbo I4 but I really couldn't be happier... the improved handling and fuel savings are great perks.  It'd be cool to meet some fellow Mini Cooper owners... are there any events / weekend drives coming up?

We have a Clubman also.
Keep your eye on the board for events. You will like the Watkins Glen event in the spring.
Things have been a little slow this summer, but there should be some fall events coming up.

What did you drive before? And, have you heard about the Auto Cross racing with the BMW guys yet? Super fun!

Hello! I just found out about this club after hearing that there was a bunch of minis at the hotel on millersport near UB. quick google search and here I am.

I am a proud owner of a 05 MCS. I have had it only a month and have in that time driven her to Maine(the day after I bought her) and down to South Carolina (yes I hit Deal's Gap on the way).

Figured I would just introduce myself and say hi.

Hi!

Just thought I'd introduce myself and my new (to me) Mini!  It is a 2007 Mini Cooper S with 17,000 miles!  Below are some pictures!  Anyways, I'm over in Chili and have been eyeing Mini Coopers for quite some time and finally decided to jump in and enjoy the fun.  I picked it up today, and on my way home from work and around town got a few waves from fellow Mini's.  If you see me around, wave!

I'm excited to motor about and just saw the post about the weekend track excursion that I missed out on!  Can't wait for the next one!

I traded a Jag S-type R in for the JCW Clubman. I have not heard about the BMW Auto Cross racing. When and where do you race?

Both clubs do autocross.  My daugther autocrosses as often as she can with her Mini,  mostly with SCCA.

My blue Countryman has stripes, but the yellow Mini doesn't.
