Been a long time Erik! Glad to see the club is still going! I thought it folded after the website went kaput. Glad I found you all again!!
I was rear ended last month and it took 3 weeks to get my mini back. I was borrowing a neighbors 2000 Cavalier (barf) for 3 weeks. I REALLY missed my mini.
5600 dollars and 3 weeks later, I've decided it's time to retire Charva, the 03 Cooper.
I did a lot of looking around at Toyotas, Mazda's, Nissan and Scion and as of this coming Friday My next car will be..........(drum roll please)....hope this link works...
Glad your cyber wanderings have brought you to our new home. Purple Haze EH. (to much time on SOMC). A wild colour for a wild man. Cheers, Jack
Actually, I don't like to wait for my MINI fix and this was the least expensive new MINI on the lot!! I've been at SOMC a few times but never for very long, eh?
I plan on trading up to an S in a couple of years. I have almost 39000 on the Pepper White 03 and was jonesin' for a new car after the accident. Also, free maintenence period has expired and Charva will need brakes at least in 2500 miles. My new car has a few goodies as where the 03 had none. My payments will only be 30 bucks more per month
Jack, I hope laurie is feeling better and is all healed again.
Humm.. I'm sure the name had NOTHING to do with it huh? :)
We only had a short time that we were totally MIA. And then there was the time with flassing adverts. But now, thanks to Yellowmini, we are advert free, and with our own url.
Glad to see you back. I can't believe that you were looking at other cars instead of MINIs! Did you see that in Forbes.com the MINI was number 1 in return to trade-ins and return value. Besides how could you join us in our events without a MINI? Good luck on your new MINI. Diane
