I just swapped rotors and pads this weekend, and couldn't throw out the old pads. I was really happy with EBC Red Stuff pads for my daily driver. No noise, lower dust than stock, lasted very long. All pads are more than 1/2 left (all center grooves are present). I put another set of EBC reds on my car.
These are for 2nd Gen cooper S (not JCW, not Justa). Numbers are DP31931C front and DP31789C rear. The box says that the fronts are for 03 and up JCW as well.
Sounds goofy, but here is a chance to see if you like these pads, or if you need a set for autocross (or just to pass inspection).
