I stopped being an active member of this club back in 2008, when my poor 2004 MINI, Little Em'ly, was totaled after driving into a flooded out underpass. Now I'm back with a 2006 MINI Cooper S, Carmina Burana. Looking forward to meeting you all! And I know I posted this in the wrong place. It's gonna take some time to get my sea-legs back...

Hi Dave, I also purchased a 2006 Mini S purchased my First Mini (a Bucket List Dream)! I have not had it for one week straight since buying it from Basil. They had no idea how to deal with the car. Towne Has done some work... replacing struts, and engine mounts, and Water Pump for Basil to make me happy. I also split the difference with Basil to have Towne Replace the Brake Lines. I was excited to attend the ralley to Watkin's Sunday, but my muffler system needs replacing! I am NOT DETERRED! Hope to meet up with everyone here and to eventually see your little beauty as well! So far the only name I have given my little car is PIA. I guess it's feminine, but it's short for Pain in the A$$.( lovingly stated of course)
