I own an 08 mini s. Today I took it to go get an alignment done at firestone. They said it couldn't be done because my strut on the driver's side front is snapped. Now, how can I actually tell it has snapped? Or is the bolt just gone? And they want more money out of me? Any help would be delightful.
And does anyone have struts I can buy for a 2008 S?
It seems very odd to get a 'snapped' strut. These are very heavy duty units. Hopefully you have had this taken care of by now. If not, I believe that I have some used struts, but I would have to check. Send me a text at 716.239.53 hundred.
