Cost of Brake Repair?

I have a 2006 that needs front and rear brakes plus a new brake sensor. My local garage quoted:  $380 for the front, $380 for the back and the sensor will be $176.  And there's tax.  So the total will be $936 plus tax.

Anyone have any feedback? Good price? No?

That is probably close. Towne will give you 10% off, being a club member. That's an option. I figured the rear brakes on our 2005 was $500. The two of yours @ $900 is about right.

btw that was with all new rotors and pads...The wear sensors are like $15 on Ebay. Most people just cut them and tire the wires together. I think most of us can tell when we need new brake pads LOL

Thanks to both of you for the feedback; it's very different....but helpful. SPD....you are so lucky to be able to do the brake work yourself-wow!
