I hope you had a nice holiday season with your family along with the members of the Western NY Mini Club. I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you and discuss some of the events that will take place here at The Glen in 2013.
Our racing season kicks off April 20-21st with Opening Weekend. Opening weekend allows our fans to drive three (3) laps in their own personal vehicle around the historic road course for only $25 per car load. Many clubs chose to book a timeslot so that all of their members can enjoy the experience together. To take advantage of this, your club must have at least 10 vehicles participating and schedule by April 15th, 2013. All tickets will be sold at the gate.
Our second event is the Sahlens Six Hours of The Glen, June 28-30th. This event weekend features some of the worlds best sports cars such as Ferrari, Corvette, Mustang, Audi, Porsche, BMW, Mini and several other manufactures competing in an endurance format that tests man and machine. The event also features a Car Corral located in Turn 1. The car corral is open to all sports car owners and can take advantage of a special ticket offer. The offer is a discounted weekend general admission, corral admission, and touring laps, all for only $30 per person. Children 18 and under are free and tickets will be going on sale shortly.
Our final event is the Glenora Wine Cellars US Vintage Grand Prix presented by Welliver, September 6-8th. The event weekend features over 400 vintage race cars competing over the course of the weekend. The event weekend will honor the MINI as its feature marque. There is also a special ticket offer for this weekend as well.
