I've had mediocre results from exhaust work done by Monroe on my Subaru. Every time I've had them do work a sensor ended up failing very shortly afterwards. Hope you have better luck.

After crawling under the car I see that the pipes are solid but it's just getting a little throaty growl to it. We're going to live with it for awhile.
We had a$650 estimate from a friendly shop. Better than the dealer but still expensive.

are you going for a full exhaust syestem, like mufflers cats and the whole deal? that doesnt sound too bad of a price, id try and look for something around 500 or so. But considering Cole muffler was going to charge me $80 to straight pipe my truck, the prices can be a little steep (so thats why i break out the reciprocating saw and go to town myself)
