2005, MINI Cooper. Automatic.
The damn passenger seat sensor has failed again. We had it fixed under warranty 3 1/2 years ago. Now, the warning light is saying failure again. We're looking at a steep repair bill and no one seems to care. MINI USA won't help and Towne is doing what they do and charging what they charge.
Any suggestions are very welcomed. We are looking to get out from under this car.
If we could get a break on labor or wholesale the part.

Good news from BMW in New Jersy. They agreed to reimburse me for some of the cost to replace the sensor/seat cover. We're still waiting for an answer from the Engineering Staff to see if they can find a defect. I'll keep you posted.
