Finger Lakes Spirited Run November 5th 2011

I couldn't wait for the next event and with winter coming upon us sooner every day I decided to organize a spirited run through the Finger Lakes!  This is my first attempt at organizing an event like this so if you have suggestions please feel free to help out as I'm likely oblivious or haven't considered it!

So far, the route I've come up with is available on Google Maps here, however it is possible that it may change before the date so keep that in mind.

As far as the run itself, I'm thinking of just having a stop half way through and just letting everyone go at it!  I personally enjoyed running through the route along some quite enjoyable scenery and Italy Valley is just a joy to drive!

With that said, lets just have fun and let me know if your interested in showing up!  I'm hoping to show up around 10:30am (so those who are in Buffalo or Syacuse have a little extra time to get there) and if you want to lead a group from your area let me know!

When: November 5th 2011 at 10:30am
Where: Meet at scenic stop off 20A
Route: Google Maps (possible route, may change)

Rochester Group Meetup:

I'll be heading a group from Rochester if anyone is interested tagging along.  I will be at the Hylan Drive Wegmans (seemed to work well for the Letchworth event) at 9:15 and hoping to leave sometime around 9:45.

Buffalo Group Meetup:

Alton's parking lot (corner of Transit and Seneca in Elma) at 9am?

This looks good. One last run before winter sets in. M has her snow shoes on, just in case.
I'll meet @ Altons as well.
Morgan, is there a little coffee shop or restaurant we can sit & chat @ the half way point?

Rev, we would be glad to have you join us. Hope you'll be able to! As far as a place to stop and chat there a ton of places in Canadaigua which is about 2/3 of the way through the route and that's about all I could find without driving the route again.

I'm interested in going and I'll be coming from Rochester (Wegmans hylan dr. parking lot) in Charlie. I have no clue about these routes though. So I will need assistance. Thanks!

I'll be leaving from the Hylan Wegmans at about 9:45 so don't worry on getting there.  I'll also print out maps of the route in case anyone gets separated.

Thanks for a blast everyone!  I certainly enjoyed the run and can't wait for another!  My favorite part was through Italy Valley (naturally since it included all the bends)!  Maybe if anyone wants to do this run again we could double back through Italy Valley on the way back for double the joy!
