I doubt it, I mean we are in the car not on it LOL. Even if it is cold and wet it will be fun. More of a driver challenge than a who has the most powerful car challenge =)
There is a covered spectating area with bleachers to watch from. Besides, as was mentioned you learn more about car control on a slippery surface than on dry pavement.
Looks like about 30 MINIs so far unless the weather makes some people cancel.

Sweet. Are there BMW's coming too or just MINIs? I have a friend coming with me that I'm probably going to let take a few runs in my car if they allow that.
It's MINI day. Just MINIs. We will stop running MINIs about 11:30 to allow the instructors to get their yaya's out then after lunch we will run from 1 - 2:30 MINIs only then back to instructors to end the day.
Cars will be classed as Countrymen, Clubmen and MINI. Times will be kept and you will be able to keep track of your improvement during the day.

yes, second gear all the way once you are rolling. I test drove the track earlier this year while arranging the event. Wished I had remembered to post the video from the test drive once the event was announced.

FYI-- the address on the flyer from Towne MINI is wrong... it's really 2123 Lakeville Rd.Avon, NY 14414, not 3123. Not a huge difference, but I got a little nervous when I Google Earth'd the original address and there was nothing there.

So, when you show up at the track come right to the registration shed and we will get you signed in. Bring your license and helmet if you have one.
I'll check them, register you and give you numbers to put on your car. These are removable numbers, use them all the time at the race track. Would like to have them on the upper right corner of the windshield. They stick well, your challenge may be to get the windshield clean and dry enough to put them on.
From there, drivers meeting about 9:20 and then we will get started with the driving.
I hear there is a surprise coming. Can't wait to see it.
