Washing the MCS

What is the best way to wash my MCS, is it all right to run thru an automated car wash?

What is the car wax of choice?

sure, I run my MINI through the laserwash (no touch) twice a month in the winter and whenever I don't have time to hand wash. If you do hand wash the Mini, use the two bucket method . I don't bother with the grit guards or 5 gal buckets, though. I favor Meguiars stuff as you can buy it anywhere. But I have used other products - Klasse, OPT Poli-Seal, etc.

I use Mequiar's to wash.  I haven't taken it through a laserwash yet.

Prima products seem to be what many use in the Mini community.  I've used the Prima Epic wax and am pretty happy with it.
