My MINI maintenence program is ending soon and I'm considering the extended plan. $1800 but if you do the math work, it's still less than pay as you go. Anyone out there do this?
After much debate (with myself) I did end up getting it. Honestly, if there was a trustworthy place around here to take the MINI or if I was more capable myself, I probably wouldn't have done it. In the end, I decided I could come out ahead on the deal so I went with it. When I bought it, it was considerably less than what you're quoting--$1395. There's a pretty extensive thread on NAM regarding this topic but you have to watch closely because some people are talking about the extended warranty and not the extended maintenance plan.
