Just starting a new thread for this years Letchworth run.
See the last 2 pages of the 09 thread to catch up.
To summarize what is going on so far:
Rochester Group is meeting at the Henrietta Target between 9 & 9:30
Buffalo Group is meeting at Alton's restaurant. Corner of Transit & Seneca, just south of the 400, about the same time, Between 9 & 9:30
It is about an hour drive for both groups, so we should be getting to the park about 10:30ish.
No pavilion has been be reserved this year. I think the tentative plan is to meet at the Glen Iris restaurant. The majority of pavilions are between the Mount Morris entrance & the Glen Iris.
If the Rochester group could scope out those, on their way in that would be great. I could swing by the Parade grounds and check that out, since we will be entering the park @ Portageville.
Radios tuned to 7-21 as usual.
As for food, we could do the same last year. Bring a dish to pass.
If anyone wants to stay at our Fire Depts country home on Saturday night let me know. It is about 60 miles from Letchworth down Rt 36 (near Greenwood).

Here are some more pictures so you know what to expect. All you really need is some linen and a pillow. I will provide and prepare a nice Sunday morning breakfast.
I'm still a tentative. I just had surgery on my hand yesterday, and have to do several hours of therapy/rehab each day. I'll let you know.

Unfortunately, we're not going to be able to make it this weekend. Having been gone for a month, I have a lot to do to get ready for fall / winter (which is forecast for the next few days -- snow, I mean). Sorry to miss it, but please do me a favor and have a toast in Ted's honor...
On the up side, the MINI did a fabulous job of getting me cross-country AND BACK! I had a great trip, took the MINI's portrait in some very cool places (which I got to enjoy myself), saw lots of old friends, and had a blast in the MINI...(or did I say that?). I'll post a few pics when I get things sorted out.
Have a great time at Letchworth! Hope there's still some great colors to see there.
Hmmm..I guess it's time to start planning the Toy Drive. I'll get right on that...
I might show up at Target to say hi... but I have too much homework and grading to do to be away from the house all day.

I think that Brian and have officially decided to pass this one up. Hope everyone has a great time! I think that the leaves should be awesome!

We may have to bail out also. Had some family matters this week that were taxing and Dennis just picked up a Saturday night OT shift. Have fun and dress warm.
Hey, Dale and all, glad to hear you had a great day! I was thinking of you all this morning while taking Carmen for a walk, then later as Jill and I moved piles of concrete, then piles of dirt to clear the way for other piles that are bound to come with winter. If it was anything there like it was here, Letchworth must have been gorgeous (no pun intended). Sorry to have missed it this year, but look forward to being back in the groove next year. I look forward to seeing the pics!
Yes those were some nice pics Dale. Thanks for sharing. Was nice meeting you and your wife, along with everyone else. Sorry we had to leave so soon. There is always next time or the next event. CHEERS!!!!!!!!! Andy....
