Try this one and see if it helps: When you get in the car, intall the key and just turn it to on. Allow everything to come up to power, radio, blower, gauges. I'm thinking that it might give the fuel pump enough time to get the pressure up and allow it to run without the sputter. Then, turn the key to start and see if it runs any better after it's been allowed to "power up" all the systems.
