For some reason 2009 has a large number of anniversaries.
The 50th for the MINI, the 40th for The Italian Job, Woodstock, the Manson murders to name a few.

However none of these events compare to July 16th and 20th 1969. These are the 40 anniversaries for the Apollo 11 lift off and moon landing. This is the first time any human set foot on another world. Take a moment out in the morning and look up.
