This is actually thanks to Wienerdog in the general discussion board. Thought I would post it here also. It is short notice, but if you also like railroads (as well as MINI's) like me, then this is right up your alley.
I talked to the rally master and it turns out his origional railroad theme didn't workout as well as planned. It will be a good tune-up for the June MINI rally though. It is also a really nice afternoon drive.
We had a good time @ this rally. It still had a railroad theme to it, at least for the first part of the rally. The L,A & L is a short line, with it's main focus being the switching of Barilla & Kraft foods in Avon. He did send us down to Conesus Lake & that area in the last part of the rally. Charlie was the only MINI there. Wienerdog, I was hoping you were going to be there. It was a magnificent day to motor. We ended up in a 4 way tie for second place. Not bad for a first rally.

I did the required safety check on the rally so I really couldn't run it. My wife and I made a quick trip to Maine instead. Look forward to the June rallys though. My wife and I will be doing registration at the rally in PA.
The rally master has informed me that the PA rally will be ~90 % dirt roads....
