Hello everyone my name is Marla and I have a 2009 Mini Cooper chili red checkerboard roof, outside mirrors, rearview mirror, dash is also checkerboard with rooster red colorline. I have checkerboard plates any my license plate says MY1MINI. I have not been to any of the Mini functions they always seem to happen when my husband is out of the country. He just returned from South Korea on Friday. We are hoping to make possibly some of the functions this year if my husband's job keeps him in the states. I sometimes never know till the last minute so it is hard for us to plan anything.

I bet at least a few of us in the group could come up with something to do that would fit your husband's schedule... How about you come up with a day he's available and we will see what we can come up with.

Scott, good to see you back after your long absence! Looks like lots of events lining up; should be a great summer!

I wish we could round up klownkrr; haven't seen them on for some time (and ted hasn't gotten to meet them yet).

I just sent an application in to Letchworth yesterday. Once I know which date in late September / early October was accepted, I'll let y'all know. This year, it'll be a Sunday. We'll see if VB can set his alarm and make it to THIS party!

If anyone is interested SCCA Finger Lakes Region has 2 TSD rally's in the not too distant future. There is a ~60 mile rally on 5-24 in Avon NY and another ~60 mile rally to benefit "Relay for Life" in Wellsboro PA The Wellsboro rally in conjunction with STPR a Rally America Pro Rally (read Subaru/Mitsubishi) Do the Charity rally in the afternoon stay for the spectator stage that night.

So lets see you all have added Letchworth And maybe two "TSD Rallies.
Any more.
Anyone have a number for Klowncar and give a call? Find out if things are ok and if the Log Cabin is on again. I do not believe that I like Tedscar, have met up yet.

AS far as the votes go the seems like the Clubman is a hit. And as thought the Mini S is the pick. If you have not voted please do. Also if you have anymore ideas for activities post it.

Got our tickets for the wine fest today!!!!!! Fun time to come. Camp on the grounds at the racetrack all weekend and just one big party.

I went to the Log Cabin this past Wednesday; things are starting to pick up there. I did have one man tell me to keep my purse away from his car (and he called me "sweetheart"). It was a tossup as to who wanted to punch him more, me or my husband.

The rally scheduled for 5-24 in Avon has turned into a follow the route and answer the questions rally Somewhat like I suspect the June 13th rally to be. Still will be an opportunity for a Tom Wahl's burger and root beer.

That Avon rally is related to the railroad in that area, and I am a train nut. It will also be good practice for 6/13 for us newbie's. There is a very good chance that I will be @ the Avon rally

Just got back from the Avon Rally. Had a good time.
Last night we took 'M' & Charlie to a local cruise night in Marilla.
I know that MINI's are made for motoring, not sitting still & looking pretty, although they do that well also.
Even though we were amongst Corvettes, Chargers, Camaros & other hot rods, there was still a lot of interest in our MINI's, especially the Clubman.
We saw an original Mini leaving as we were arriving. I would have liked to talk with them.

Stop by Niagara Landing Wine Cellars while you're at the wine fest - I'll be pouring wine for them the whole weekend so I get in for free - yipee! I'll be driving down in the Mini S too - see you there!

You got it Liz!!! Glad to see that there are others at the event. After last year though, I think we might take the truck. The MINI was so packed that Maureen had her knees at her chest and could not move her feet. She buys so much wine there. I do have to say that the people at the campsite kept checking out the car. Think we need to get a small cargo trailer like the one in the pictures from MINIs on top last year.
Got our CHEEP tickets. Not quite free but we will be able to drink-fall-down-drunk and only have to walk back to the tent. Did I mention that it would be Niagara Landing Wine that we would be drinking?
