Parking lamp

My parking lamp burnt out and I cannot get the bulb out.  I tried twisting, pulling, and pinching.  I went to autozone and they couldn't figure it out either.

Any tips.  BTW I have a 2005.

Not to be snarky, but have you checked the owner's manual for instructions?  Page 122 of the on line version makes it sound pretty simple (but I may have confused the bulb you're referring to):

Parking lamps and standing lamps
5 watt bulb
The parking lamps and standing lamps are integrated in the lamp housing of the turn
signal indicator.

- Open the bonnet
- Reach into the opening for the turn signal indicators from above

1. Turn the bulb holder to the left and pull out
2. Remove and replace the bulb

Yes I have seen the directions and it seems very easy... but it won't turn on either side.

So you've removed the bulb holder but the bulb itself is frozen in place?

No I can't get the bulb holder out, all I can do is get the plug off.

I will have to go into towne to have it looked at. I think with my little snafoo the passenger side one got replaced so I would assume that one would not be melted in yet. Probably some strange trick I can't figure out.
