MIRROR CAPS

I have a set of white mirror caps that I want to change to checkerboard. If anyone knows someone who can paint them please let me know. If anyone would like to trade checkerboard caps for all white ones I would be interested. I had these taken off when I bought the car so they are in excellent condition.

IIRC, the caps aren't all that expensive, definitely cheaper than having some painted, that's for sure.

The caps from MIni are $75.00 ea. I would like to save $150 if at all possible.

I say wrap them in Vinyl so you can return to stock if you want

Where do you get the wraps for the mirrors? I have only seen the complete caps for sale.

A viny wrap seems risky. The "stick-on" caps seem like a better choice but they seem a bit pricey too. You can get OEM caps for $120 but that's not a lot less than $150.

Well I bit the bullit on the mirror caps. I got them from Towne on Sat. the 25th. The side mirrir caps are $79.00 ea and the rear view cap is $60.00. Seems like a lot but boy do they look good. I have to admit they were worth it.I'm getting the checkered roof decal installed on Friday. Nigel should look rather spiffy.

Don't forget the scuttles and center caps.

Valve stem caps are a bit too too though.

What are scuttles? I have seen the center caps & I like those. I do have the valve stem caps. They are very suttle.

We have two sets of black caps, but that isn't going to help you.
"M" has black jacks & Charlie has checkerboards right out of the show room.

I bought a set of checkered caps from Towne. They turned out great.
