So, it sounds like it's down to the following for a Thursday morning direct drive to NH:

It sounds like Mitch is planning to leave later in the day, but if plans change, let us know. Just over a week away!

Why don't we plan on meeting at the Clifton Spring's rest stop (right after the exit for Route 21) at around 8:30. Will that work? Does anyone need a walkie talkie, cause we have extras!

We'll definitely have Zwigles and veggie burgers. I am still thinking about what I can bring that can be made on Wednesday or in our room... possibly some sort of pasta salad...

Clifton Springs rest stop...that's on the Thruway, shortly east of Rte. 332 / Canandaigua interchange with Thruway? If so, count us in for 0830.

As for the cookout, we will make it (part of) our mission on Fridee to find something truly regional in flavor from NH to contribute to said event. Stay tuned....

The Clifton Springs exit is east of the exit for Manchester/Clifton Springs (Route 21), which I believe is exit 43. (44 is the exit for route 332 and 45 is Victor). If you want, since you know where we live, you can come to our house at 8:00 and we can drive together.

Cookout update:

Location: Bartlett Inn (two picnic tables and a charcoal grill are available for our use)
Time: Friday 6/26 starting around 5:00
BYOB (bring your own beverage!)

Mark & I will be bringing:
Zwigles hot dogs, rolls, ketchup
marinated portobello mushrooms
pesto pasta salad
plates
paper towels/napkins

Holly & Brian are bringing:
garden burgers
pizza bread (maybe)
chips(?)

Kim & Jill are bringing:
local delicacy to be determined

Gammacoop et al are bringing:
a surprise!

Stuff we will still need:
charcoal
cutlery

Anyone is welcomed and encouraged to attend! The Bartlett Inn has graciously allowed us to meet and eat there with the promise that we will not be too disruptive (shouldn't be a problem) and that consumption of alcohol is done VERY responsibly.

We don't have an open one, but can pick up a bag of charcoal that day. We can probably find a mis-matched set of plasticware or we can pick some up. Maybe we can do a Customs-style investigation of our supplies at some point along the trip (and I can tell my own personal story of delaying a Customs crossing by a couple hours)...

By the by, Ted was a big fan of hot dogs, so thumbs up from her on the Zwiegels!
