Wait, what's wrong with Winnie? Have you fallen out of love? Plus, I broke your e-brake, so I can't support him buying damaged goods!!!

As far as Winnie I am looking for an 04-06 BMW M3 convertible. Something with more power and RWD.
There aren't that many around but the price of a year old 135i should be roughly in the same range as the M3s you're considering, plus will have a good deal of the new car warranty remaining. The 135 is less of a race car for the street, but it will keep up with the M3.
actually I have been finding 04 and 05 M3 convertibles for around 24-25k with around 40k on them. As much as I would love a new or slightly used 135i I dont think they can be had anywhere near that price =(
Yikes!! I didn't realize they were priced like that. Not bad at all considering the level of performance.
Unfortunately, you're right about 135 prices. A new convertible begins at just over $40K and the options add up quickly. Depending upon options and packages, a used 135 convertible will still be in the mid 30's I think.
If you do get the M3 or any later model BMW for that matter let me know your email address and I'll send you a copy of the "BMW Old School Maintenance Schedule" that was put together by Mike Miller who writes the tech column for the Roundel magazine. It addresses the issue of how maintenance requirements suddenly radically changed (e.g. 'lifetime' lubricants) when BMW begain providing free service during the first few years of ownership and gives recommendations on how to maintain the car to last. Interesting reading.
Nicole is fine. She is just probably not coming back for a while. She hated all the drama from before.

I miss Nicole. I didn't care for the drama either, but at the end of the day, I like the people in the Club and all that each individual brings to it.

Hassel BMW is now offering to make your first two payments if you buy a new 5 series BMW . Its a savings around $1500. Just thought id let ya know. Seeya CJ

I think that the BMWUSA promotion to make the first 2 months payments (up to $750 / month) is for other models as well as the 5-series. There have been a few postings on sites for the 1Series discussing this. I believe there is also a 3.9% finance rate offered as well.
unless I trade in Winnie and my truck I dont think I can afford a new 135i conv =(
I thought you were going for a Vette? I admit I have not been around awhile, sorry if I missed something. By the way. I almost plowed your driveway a few times. Just didn't know where I should put your snow....Do you like the people next door?...hint -s

Alright folks, shall we do this thing? Are people interested? Check out the Colden tubing site (http://www.kbski.com/content/pages/tubing). Note the cost, and the fact that weather can change their operation without much warning.
Based on Mitch's earlier comment, how would folks be with meeting there at 10 AM next Sunday, 2/15?
Who's in?
(Not to be rude, but if you guys could take your off-topic conversation to PM or other format, that might help people stay focused on the possible upcoming event--thanks)
Just to correct what I said before I heard an ad. and they said 2 hours also. So I do not know if it is 2 or 2.5 because when we went they gave us 2.5 maybe because we came early I don't know.
Your right about the off-topic...sorry about that. As far as the Tubing....The last time I did that I got 3 cracked ribs from one of my boys comming down behind me. I need to save myself for the walls, and doors I run through at work. Some of those walls are really hard LOL. Then there is the Track Masters and Wine fest....Need to be in good health for all the driving and drinking. Notice I put driving first. Will the Mini fit on a Tube? -S

At Colden they only let one person down the slope at a time. There is a light system and you can only go when the light is green or they kick you out. And the MINI will almost fit on the tube.
Who IS going to Colden tomorrow? I thought I'd call and check on conditions tonight and post to the board, but on their website, KB said the warm weather had not been much of an issue for them and they were set to provide great skiing this week. So, I'm assuming they're equally set for tubing.
If you're going, would you post here? I'd hate to drive all the way up there and be the only one there...
I'm sorry, but I won't be able to make it, as it seems that I have come down with a cold.
