I am SSG Phillip Batson. I am getting stationed at Ft. Drum, and some guys from NEMINI recommended me checking you guys and gals out. Trixxie is my 03 Cooper S. She is Indie Blue w/White roof and an aero kit. She has Kyowa Wheels that are of a mesh design, Megan Rear Lower Control Arms, and Megan Coilovers. She is wanting a Detroit Tuned BBK, but I dont know if she needs it. Actually, my wife doesn't see why she needs it. If anyone happens to have an aero front bumper, she has a nice ding on her right lip. Freaking Parking Lots!!!!!! If anyone can point me to a good Mechanic, I will need a new one since North Carolina is a little bit rediculous of a drive. I like going on spirited drives when ever I am able to and I have a son due on Turkey Day. I look foward to getting to meet all of you and motoring. Have a good night.
Welcome to the Club Phillip! Your description of Trixxie sounds great, but don't forget, "a picture is worth a thousand words"! I can't help you on the mechanic but I've got to believe there's one closer than North Carolina. Fort Drum, eh? Hope you brought your winter boots...
Hey, if you can swing it, load Trixxie up with toys and join us for the (first) annual event / delivery in Rochester on 12/20. More info here: http://miniclubofwny.activeboard.com/index.spark?forumID=71633&p=3&topicID=22249261

I will try to make the toy run, I am thinking I will be back in SC to pack a Penske Truck and bring my family up, if Housing is straitened. But thank you for the offer. I will use this post to keep the group informed of my progress up.
Well, at 6:35pm 12-3-2008, Collin Robert Batson was born standing at 20-1/4 inches and weighing in at 6lbs 13oz. Collin and Mommy are both ok and will go home in the morning. Daddy however, will be leaving early Saturday before the crack of dawn to make the trek to Fort Drum. If someone can explain how to upload photos, I will submit both of Collin, and my MINI.
Congratulations on your new Mini, and welcome to upstate NY! As I'm sure you'll find out, Ft Drum is 'upstate' for most of us! The winters are not for wimps, but the rest of the year it's a nice place to be. I've found a Mini to be a great car in snow, though you'll see a bit more of it there than the rest of us.
Thank you all. I am in Tivoli, PA at my Grams, Trixxie said there is this wet white stuff on her and she disliked the stuff. Got an icescraper w/brush on the fly when i realized there is snow falling. Well i am getting to sleep, thank you all for the kind words.
We are at 10th MTN and just loving the weather. I am raising my suspension this weekend, or atleast I plan to. So if anyone is in the area and wants to play with cars, let me know.
Big CONGRATS! Sounds like trade in time for a Clubman. -s
