Its official, Im getting my MINI

I got approved for my 09 mini lightning blue black top. I was told maybe mid november which is forever away but it gives me alot of time to save alot for a down payment. The more the better. also more money to pay off my VW. Im super excited!!!!!!! i cant wait till it gets nice out again after winter and i can come out with everyone and be a true part of the MINI community!!smilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilebiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Woo-hoo!!! Winter seems exceptionally long when my MINI is tucked away in the garage. I've been driving my winter car while Pepper is getting fixed, and it makes me hope that summer lasts extra long so that I can make up for lost time!

Congratulations Brian! November's not that far away...

Since I ordered my MINI, I've been amazed how some parts of my life are on fast-forward, and some parts (like MINI delivery day) seem to be on s-l-o-w motion. But now, I'm getting close--can hardly wait. We're having some great weather; the leaves are starting to turn (already!), and WNY has some great 'twisties'--gotta love it!

Well, not quite. Ray's been off this week so I had to do some sleuthing on my own this afternoon. Found out my MINI made it to NYC on 8/18! Ray told me I should have it by the end of the month and it looks like he's right!

 I was woundering how long it would take someone to catch on. And you of all people had to prove the "countdown to 500" thread! God you kill me! Yet, what does a dog call a human? If they have a limited language could it not also be dog? If this is so, then "Ted" would have to walk the dog (master) after all, is it not ted that has been using the keyboard for some of the post. Wow, MightyMo (now you won't believe this but that was the name of our other dog--how confused does everyone want to be?) now I can't keep straight who's the owner and who's the pet.confused.gif

It's twisted and contorted, but I realized after reading NAM for a while that MINI owners met both those requirements! Ted is beside herself* (*more confusion--how can 'Ted' be a she?) at the thought of tooling around in her MINI, meeting all of you (and your dogs) at Letchworth on Sept. 27 and other miscellaneous outings!

As for who's running the keyboard, well, let's just say for the most part, Ted's channelling through me...
