Nicole where are you? Their fighting! I wish we were not going to drive MiniMo to Tampa Bay in the am of the 18th. I think the 17th is going to be good! And what is with the cookies?

My apologies, I won't be able to make this one... My Mini has major boo boos. She's in the body shop at Towne missing me (I hope)... cuz I sure do miss her. She won't be ready to run by then... not to mention Mom is scared to drive.

How do you get 103 miles? Plus, if you go through some of the smaller towns (such as Medina), there tends to be a lot of law enforcement supervision. What back roads do you take? I just chimed in b/c I want everyone to be there on time (especially your wife with her cookies).

Last Saturday... Top was down, we were motoring along and BAAAAM... some chick ran a stop sign going about 70 mph and hit us (we had the ROW and were going 55 mph). Chase and I are fine and the poor little MINI faired really well considering... She has $5,000 worth of damage but she will be ok I think (the Insurance Co didn't total her). I am just sick that it happened and I miss her terribly...

Sorry to hear about your accident! My Mini is at the Towne body shop also, but just for a door ding. Maybe they can hang out together in the paint shop. I miss mine, too.

tboggs - glad you are ok! it is quite remarkable how well MINI's protect their passengers in many accidents.

When SPD and I were at the Dragon this year we saw a MINI that had rolled and the driver and passenger were both uninjured and they were able to drive the MINI back to the resort from where the accident had happened - it was amazing.

And regarding Holly driving like a grandma - I seem to remember her doing pretty well following you and Venno around the track at Watkins last year. If that's driving like a grandma it must be a pretty awesome grandma!

Thank you Nicole, actually that poped into my head too, and actually here's a picture that sums up the entire run.... Holly took the pic while keeping up a constant safe distance the whole time behind me...Notice my brake lights....I kinda had to brake cus there was some old gieser in front of me who was lagging behind the MINI in front of him and really not keeping pace wink

hmm that would be me slowing down to create enough of a gap to get some speed up. I guess something as OBVIOUS as that escapes a few people on here.

Pepper my car is nothing to sneeze and and neither am I. I can run (for short distances) pretty darn fast LOL
