Thursday Caravan to Minis On Top 6/26/08

If you have registered for Minis On Top, and are interested in taking the slow route to New Hampshire, there will be folks driving from NY Thursday & staying in South Deerfield MA Thursday night, and joining the Yankee Candle caravan on Friday. That group will join with the Boston area crew on route 93, and we'll all head up to northern New Hampshire together.

I don't have a definite meeting spot yet, but last year we met on route 96 in Bushnell's Basin (n the Rochester area) which is near the Thruway entrance at exit 45. We will likely also be stopping on the Thruway to meet up with folks from Syracuse & the Southern Tier.

We will be staying at the Red Roof Inn in South Deerfield, MA on 6/26. so we'll be fresh & ready for the Yankee Candle Caravan to NH on Friday 6/27.

Well her aftermarket pulley isnt on correct. I would have known this when it was installed but apparently gatorback belts mask any noise caused by misaligned pulleys. After about 4000 miles the belt was stretched and about to break. When I put on a Napa belt the pulley squeaks alot. VERY annoying. I will be taking her out to Boston for MTTS a week before MOT and have the pulley replaced. This will hopefully take care of the problem *crosses fingers*. Also I installed a short shifter while at the dragon, we then went 10 miles over a mountain road which caused the short shifter grease to become mud so now Winnie is VERY hard to shift. I hope to get that rectified this weekend or the next.
