To all MINI Owners:

The final touches are being done to our 6th annual MINI Road Rally. The rally is held rain or shine. Lunch will be provided by Towne MINI. Every participant will receive a dash plaque as in previous years. There will be 3 prizes.

First place: A $50.00 gift certificate to Towne MINI
Second place: An all-metal MINI Clock
Third place: A MINI Mug

It's a great way to spend a Saturday morning and early afternoon. Meet other MINI owners, have lunch, and a chance to win the rally. The cost of the rally is $20.00 at the door and $15.00 if you pre-register. The monies collected from the rally go into the making of the rally and any left over monies collected are donated to charity. No one is making any money on the rally. Everyone working on this event are volunteers.

So let's all help in making this year's rally a success by participating in our 6th annual MINI Road Rally. See you all on June 28. LET'S MOTOR.

    We are there. Working that night but have somone holding for me till I get into work at the firehouse, and passing on one of the graduation parties this summer, way to many this year. We need time for us sometimes too. Never seems to be enough time to go around.

The registration fee is per MINI. Essentially $10.00 per person since you will need 2 people to run the rally. That would be at the door. It is $15.00 before June 28. Glad you could make it and good luck.

Hi all,

Just joined this site. Unfortunately, I am currently MINI-less. It's on order, but it'll be a month (or 2.5) of Sundays before I see mine. BUT, I'd love to see all of yours! I assume lunch will be at high noon (didn't see it in the fine print, if it's in there) at Colden Lakes? That would probably be the best place to see y'all short of going to Towne that morning, wouldn't it? If I can pull it off, I'll see ya at Colden Lakes!

My son has informed me that he has a prior commitment (typical 17 year old that doesn't check his calendar!). I still want to join in but I need to convince one of my friends to navigate. Unfortunatley, my husband has to work and can't participate. I will register the morning of the rally if I can find a replacemnt navigator by then! Hope to meet some other MINIacs!

Sorry I can't help (At one time I thought this might be the perfect situation since I'm MINI-less). However, I have family in from out of town and they won't be leaving until that morning (but not in time for me to be at Towne by 8:00). Hope it works out for you. Maybe I'll see you and your MINI at Colden Lakes!

To alll MINI Owners who plan to attend the rally,

You can register as late as the morning of the rally. There will be coffee, OJ, and donuts for the early risers. All prizes will be on display and if you have never done a rally before don't worry. All the instructions will be given to you and all questions will be answered. It is not that hard and I know everyone will have a great time. So see everyone on Saturday morning for our 6th annual MINI Road rally. Good luck to everyone.

My schedule opened up, but my fiancée has a graduation party so I have no navigator. If I can't find someone to navigate should I still come?

Attention MINI Owners,


Just a little bit of information:

Next year is the 50th anniversary of the MINI (Mini) and MINI Club of WNY along with Towne MINI will be doing a special rally commemorating the 50th year of the Mini so keep your calendars open for sometime early June of 09. Hope to see "50" or so MINIs for next year's rally. LET'S MOTOR. MINI Club of WNY

Try as I might I was unable to get off of work. Looks like I will have to sit this one out. Really bummed since the rally was finally in my hometown.

Thnak you too all involved. You made it a great time. The rally was a first for Maureen and I. She drove while I navigated. It worked out very well and we had so many laughs. "didn't we pass them three other times" or "quick drive we got the answer and somone else might see us" LOL. I took many pics and will post them in a few days. There were other cameras around so it should be nice to see them too.

NOW NOW COGMAN... let's remember that we are just out to have FUN!wink  REMEMBER you were  the defending champion. I am looking forward to next year.

Wind Turbines? There were wind turbines? I know that was a question but...maybe next year i'll bring heat detecting glasses. Well I have a present for ya'll.
