Problem~~~~ Snow Tires-ugh!

Tire Rack says I canNOT get steels with my 2006 Mini Cooper.
So, should I pay over $100 each for alloys or just buy the tires???

Signed, frustrated :)

You'll want to check this to be certain, but I'm pretty sure that Honda 15" wheels have a bolt pattern, hub, and offset similar to the MINI so you could use those.

minis have the same bolt pattern (4X100) as alot of cars as stated above. So you should have no problem finding some cheap rims. Check out craigslist frequently.

Thank you guys!!! I finally bought a set of Blizzaks from Tire Rack and a set of rims from a Mini dealer. I will have a local garage put them on.

Stay warm!!

Sounds like an excellent choice! Snow tires really make driving a Mini in the winter more fun! biggrin.gif

Not true. I recently purchased from Tirerack a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks mounted on 15" steel wheels, had the set shipped directly to my house and then paid a local garage $20 to remove the summer tires and mount all 4 snow tires. It can be done.
