Well I enjoyed driving my wife's mini so much I went out and bought one for myself. 

 

I also bought it because it has Xenon hedlights and I want to try Vennos  foglight trick.

This weekend is detailing weekend as the following weekend is the Grand Prix Festival of Watkins Glen. A couple of us are doing the Pleasant Valley Wine Company Founders' Tour run, we should be walking the streets down town in the afternoon...

*edit*this is SPDinNY. My laptop battery is dead and didnt realize I was using my wife's login.


sold the FJ, ended up getting slightly more than I owed (not bad for owning it a year). Towne was only going to give me 23k tops for it. Auction direct in victor offered me 25k for it, regardless if I bought the car from them or not. They happen to have this car there and it was priced well under book value so I snatched it up. If I sold my FJ to them and went to towne for a new mini I would had to pay an additional 2000 in taxes (the FJ was worth more than the mini I purchased so I didnt have to pay any sales tax)

Nice Color choice! you gunna get the Dynamics Pro Race Anthracite wheels too???
The fog light trick is just that you turn on then off your xenons quickly and you can then turn on and off your fog lamps even though your headlights are off...

no fancy shmancy rims for me, I need excuses. I wont be going to that pulley party. Thats a big drive time for me and $200 for them to change a pulley is a little steep.
