Fog Lamps

Alright so i just found tbhis out i think that its REALLY cool....but if you want to turn your fog lamps oun wihtout turning on your head lights.... then turn you headlights on and off SUPPER quick....then turn you head lights to the first position (day time running lamps) and then you can flip your fog lamps on

Lol... Lots... Actually i applied for a research grant... Once that was approved i spent 2 years establishing what my research plan was....and another year figuring out how to execute...these are my findings.. no but i found out accidentally at work...as i usually do i flip on my day times...but this time i flipped them too far and turned on my xenons...so i quickly turned them off and turned them back to where i wanted to...I put my windows down but i missed the window toggle and hit the front fogs...and the green light went on...no i was not drunk...it was just a long long day at work....and yes i was capable of driving even though i missed the day time setting for my lights and then missed the switch for the windows and hit the fog light swithc....

fairly fast...fast enough so that the lamps don't have time to align themselves

actually i have designed my own HID driving lamps....all that remains is for me to make a carbon fiber back shell (friend is living with me until they fix his house so my fume hood (which is in the same room) is out'a commission out of courtesy) The lamps are AMAZING...I have a flood and a spot...the spot i'm not going to use though because even when shining at a projection screen from 4 feet away it is too bright to look at the spot it makes...the flood is diffused so it should be really nice...I'm excited to get it done though.,..i had parts machined and chromed at the chrome shop...it shoudl be hot...

Problem with working at a company that makes lamps is that you end up being very picky about spots...I brought my MINI back to the dealershipto change my xenons out  because i could tell that the mixture of gases inside my xenons was screwed up and i was getting too much red (probably put too much sodium in there)

Hey congrats! you got up to 100 fast! I think we should throw yellow a party when she hits 500..
..and their not stolen (i know you were jk)...as a medical company we need to qualify our products and our processes/machines to make sure that our products don;t harm anyone... (FDA regs),.....so we make production batches so we get a statistical population which we can get a general idea off of...most of the time we can't sell the stuff because we either used it for drop tests or cycle tests, but sometimes (as in the case of the lamps) we purposely make lamps slightly off for training, testing and inspection purposes...and then the engineers end up with lots of product at their desks.... If you're looking to buy these lamps, they'll actually be selling them for ATVs and Dirt bikes under the name trail tech (our customer) (and yes, even though these are not medical lamps, since we are a medical company, we still must go through all the same procedures)
my outside case is going to be different since we only make the lamp and the reflector....plus its a little big for the MINI, so I'm placing the ballast under the hood, there by making the case for the lamp assembly smaller
