I know exactly where it is. I hadn't thought about that one...Hmm...I'm over off of E. Ridge Rd at work right now, but when I leave here in a little bit, I may just have to take the "scenic route" home.

Well, I live in the city in what I would term a "border" neighborhood. It's not bad right now, but in another 5-10 years it will be. We're only planning on being in the house for another couple of years, and then moving to the suburbs or out of state to escape the taxes and winters.
Yikes, Clinton Ave that late at night is creepy.

Clifford Ave / Empire Blvd area. Right near Savoia's Bakery. The side streets are actually pretty good, mostly homes that have been in families for many years. It's just hard because we're right on Clifford, so of course we get the traffic, the litter, the loud obnoxious kids who should have been in bed hours before they started making noise.
It really isn't a bad neighborhood. I guess I can't complain, we bought the house for a song and dance, and will make a very nice profit on it when we do sell.
*Edit - I'm off to drive King's Hwy. I'll check back in when I get home.

FWIW, here's another vote for a Saturday. Fridays are impossible come late August-early September for me, and Sundays from September to February are reserved for NFL in HD on the big screen.

I know of three artisan cheese makers in the Finger Lakes: 1. Meadowsweet Farms in 2054 Smith Road, Lodi, NY, 607-582-6954 2. Lively Run Goat Dairy, 8979 County Rd 142, Interlaken, NY, 607-532-4647 3. A cheesemaker in Mecklenburg whose name escapes me at the moment. I'll look for them at the Ithaca Farmers Market tomorrow. 4. The Ithaca Farmers Market is always a good place to visit on Saturday morning. 5. May be a few cheese places over in the Keuka Lake area.
How Cuba or Corfu or Lake Ontario can even be remotely considered as a Finger Lakes destination is beyond me? I think some people need to brush up on their geography or at least look at a map. Rob
