Strange Inquiry (or Not...)

Hey there,

OK - now don't laugh, but does anyone know where in Rochester I can get ahold of some Dry Ice, preferable on a Saturday morning?  We are in town for a few days and want to stock up on Abbott's, and figure the best way to get it home on Saturday (a 6+ hour drive) is to use some dry ice...  (might as well throw some Zweigles White Hots in there as well since our Wegmans in Joisey don't seem to know what they are!)

Thanks in advance...
Nancy

I haven't seen it in a while, but one place might be Southtown Beverages on West Henrietta near Abbott's (closer to Brighton Henrietta Townline Rd).

Google is a wonderful thing:

Red Diamond Dry Ice & CO2 Corp.
1083 Mount Read Blvd
Rochester NY
585.354.6844

Happy Ice
Fairport, NY
585.388.0080

Given the company names, I'd suggest trying Red Diamond first. Good luck.

I've seen info previously about a company shipping Zweigle's & Abbott's (using dry ice, of course), and I don't see it on the Abbott's page now but it's on the Zweigle's page
http://www.nystyledeli.com/cgi-bin/deli/index.html

Just in case you want someone to do the schlepping for you, depending on the shipping costs!
