I did not attend due to being in Michigan that weekend but I have driven the '07's and although I'm a big fan of the upgrades to the interior, I still prefer the "lower" '02-06's.

The bonnet and boot appear "puffy" to me (I'm sure I'll get used to it) and the car seems to set a bit higher off the ground.

The new motor is simply awesome but if you have an Cooper S, you will miss the whine from the supercharger and the burble from the exhaust.

One more issue I have is the jerkiness of the steering. When accelerating hard, the car want's to take off in wrong directions with the slightest bump in the road. This was my main complaint for the new model. I really hope MINI can correct this in future models.

My favorite car was the Cooper with the automatic. Hit the sport button and it feels like you're in an S! I enjoyed the paddle shifters on the steering wheel too.

Here are some pictures we took (have a few more, too). Pretty big turnout.

---Sorry about no attached photos. The server still will not let me upload any files. Anyone else with a MAC been able to do that?---

Interesting to see Towne BMW/MINI with more MINIs than BMWs (they were all "out back").

You could get a free account on Picasa and then link to an album there to share the pics.
