FS: Brake Pads and Rotors

For Sale: MINI Brake Pads and Rotors

When we bought our MINI from Towne, we had the JCW Sport Brake kit installed. These are the take off OEM parts. They are not new parts, but our MINI only had 17 miles in it when we drove it home. They are in excellent shape (stored in the boxes from that kit).

1) Set of Rear Pads (4)
2) Set of Front Pads (4) [still on the calipers]
3) Pair of Front Rotors (2)
4) Set of Front Calipers (2)

Asking $125 for the whole lot (plus shipping). From the price checking I have done, items 1, 2 & 3 alone run almost $300 (over the counter) and maybe $200 (over the internet). Would like to use the cash to get a set of stainless steel brake lines.

Calipers would be great for a paint & swap to get like new brakes that look like one of those big brake kits. I suggest the brush-on brake caliper paint that the Tire Rack carries. Used it once, easy to use and gives a very good looking durable finish.

Because they weight quite a bit, shipping could be costly. To help out, maybe we can meet up somewhere. We have upcoming trips to Buffalo (via NYS Thruway) and often make weekend trips to Syracuse.

Post here if you are interested (that sets the first come.. order).

Thanks TowneMINI (Mark). The parts have been on a shelf in the garage since we drove home with our Tardis last April.

I just did know what to do with them or if other Motorers would want take-offs. The parts are so new there is not even brake dust on them.

BTW - See Monday around 10AM for the Tardis' first oil service. As I said, totally trouble-free motoring over the past year / 12,000 miles.

I'll take 'em. Smileee is in need of a new set.

If you are coming to Towne on Monday I'll meet you there.

Cheers,
Jack

Jack07734,

I will bring the whole collection to Towne for my service appointment on Monday April 16th. Appointment is for 10:00 to 10:30 AM and Mark says the Tardis should be out by Noon. We plan to get there by 10:00 and can wait at lunchtime if necessary. We may run up to Dave and Buster's for lunch, as we are not in any rush to drive back.

Thanks,
DoctorWho
