Ok guys were geting the dealership up and running for the upcoming summer and R56 release, we are also going to start using our website and updating it weekly with specials, events and anything else that will help our customers out for the first time in years. right now there are a few specials in service, sales and detail. The date for the r56 party is still be picked but as soon as there is a date we would love to see a caravan of local MINI's attend.
Yes the web site will almost be live, the next couple of days you will still notice changes while i get it up and running, then once to twice a week depending on how fast our inventory moves and different specials, it will be updated. Right now we are looking at possibly a wed. but hopfully a sat for our long distance customers to join the R56 party, no matter the day ill be working in service and we can just have you come in early before the party for any service work dr. As far as any type of e-mail updates, or scheduling through e-mail or what ever the towne e-mail system you were refering to meant, give me some ideas, any ideas that would help the customers out and i will see what i can do to bring them to life, any questions or suggestions are always welcome to miniservice@towneauto.com as far as there being no standard R56's thats just crazy talk, there are still alot of restrictions when ordering new cars, nav is not available yet, and so on, but we do have a few six speeds to test drive, and we just came back from AZ for training and let me tell you we put miles on in the mts and on local tracks and that new automatic is amazing, smooth as can be and just right for around town cruising, turn on the sport mode and it wakes up and will have you plastered in your seat hanging on. Hopefully a little later this morning we will have the exact date and time for the parts, thanks for reading guys!
Great to see this. As a customer, Towne's been very good to work with - it would be nice if they became more active in the local MINI owner community. Hopefully that could serve as a catalyst to get the local owners to be more involved in activities, etc. Lots of MINIs sold in this area, but aside from a few diehards, pretty much a dud in terms of owner interactions.
No it has not passed at this point in time, due to planning around the buffalo weather and waiting to have all models of the r56 available, which will be over the next few weeks (we just got our first navigation car) the date seems to continue to get pushed out and is not set yet. As soon as it is picked all customers in the Towne data base should get a flyer in the mail, maybe e-mail and it will be posted here. I thank you for your patience.
Well the weather has cleared for now... On May 19th from 5pm-8:30pm, (feel free to come earlier, the dealership will be open) We will be celebrating the new MINI. There are alot of details yet to come, but those dates and times are set. There will be food, beverages, R56's galore and possible live music from MINI Motor Punch, unrelated to the vehicle, but a local band with great music. I hope to see everyone there!
