Mini owners in the Finger Lakes

Hello.
I live in the heart of the Finger Lakes (on the Senca Lake Wine Trail) and I see pleanty of Minis on the road around the Ithaca area. Are any members among the fellow Mini drivers I see? Or do I need to organize a Finger Lakes branch? The Finger Lakes would make a nice destination for a road trip, anyone interested?

Hi! There are several Mini owners in that area that I know of, in Ithaca, Trumansburg & in the Watkins Glen area. We'll be down at Watkins Glen for Opening Day 4/29/07 (just saw this last week, so event planning is in progress), for their annual track laps. I've also been doing an event in August with track laps and lunch, usually the 3rd weekend in August (the week after the Watkins Glen NASCAR race). Will keep you posted!

Track Laps? Does this mean being able to drive at high speeds on the WG Track? Sounds like fun, count me in. I may have meet the Mini driver in Watkins Glen on Monday night over dinner with mutual friends. I work in Trumansburg and drive through the village nearly every day but ahve yet to see a Mini. I drive a pepper white MCS, honk or wave if you see me passing through.
