Does anyone know if the 2007 MC CD players play MP3 CD's?

My 06 plays MP3 and WMA files.

Even mixed together on the same CD!

Really sweet,

Dave

That's awesome. It wasn't advertised on the Mini configurator - I guess this is a pretty standard option now, so they didn't mention it.

Do the ID3 tags get displayed?

Mp3s and WMAs? Boy, I missed out on a lot of features wanting to be the first on the block to have a MINI. I'm lucky mine plays CDR although I mostly use my iPod with the iTrip FM transmitter because my stereo isn't compatible with the MINI auxiliary plug package!!

At only 5 years old (almost) hearing of all the new features packed into these new, young, whippersnapper MINIs makes me feel as if I'm already driving a classic car from the past.

Not only does my new 06 play mp3s it also has photon balsters, ejection seat, a hula girl, and one real big sunroof.

Cheers,
Jack

I'll bet the convertible is convenient for the ejection seat. Sure saves wear & tear on the roof!

Good point. I just wish it was like yours and had a Webb installed pulley.

Cheers,
Jack

No ID tags on the 06 but I'm not sure about 07

On a different forum someone from UK who has an 07 MCS told me that the ID3 tags do get displayed. I think it is pretty standard for units that play MP3 CD's.
