Maxaminibro is coming to Rochester on business, and now that it looks like the weather will be reasonable (by winter standards), he's up for dinner & to meet any Mini folks in the area who might want to be out & about.
I think for 'local flavor' Jeremiah's would be a logical choice. They are at 1104 Monroe Avenue (near Culver Rd). The plan is to meet around 6 pm. Please send me an email or PM if you'd like to come, and I'll send my cell phone # for up to the minute details. (Need to know who big a table to get!)
Hard to say, but he's unfortunate enough to be coming to our place of employment... I just printed out a map, so he doesn't get lost in the ramp garage, at least until he tries to find his car later.
There might be some Tscheez at the dinner. We will be downtown for something else that night. Is it safe to bring Jr? My son told me to order the soup du Josh.
I've eaten there with my niece & nephew when they were babies & toddlers, and it's a pretty kid-friendly place. (Just as long as they don't stand near the swinging door from the kitchen...) I find the kids aren't quite as enthusiastic about spicy hot chicken wings as I am, but they do have a lot of other good food as well.
There is parking on Monroe Avenue in front of the restaurant, and a small parking lot behind it. I'll PM you my cell phone #.
Looks like they had 98% of the street parking blocked off for repairs. How is the pizza at Chuck E Cheese? (My claim to fame is my daughter is now 26, and I still have never been there.) :D
