Just a thought . . . what if we create a flyer that can be downloaded from this site and printed by individuals introducing the WNY Mini Club and making note of our website. This flyer could be tucked under windshield wipers of unsuspecting Mini Cooper owners and may help generate some more members. I saw we had a graphics design person in our midst that may be willing to take a shot at something creative that might get us going . . . any thoughts?
Yep, it's all part of the plan! I'll be doing cards tonight, and I've asked a well-known Mini-owning graphic artist to come up with a logo for the WNY club, so we can make flyers, T shirts, cards etc with our name & logo on them. I'm also planning on doing window clings, so we can put them on our Minis. I'll keep you posted!
Don't do the homemade business cards! They look so "cheesy". You want to promote this club as a professional club. I'll get the business cards done professionally if money is an issue. Frankly by the time you pay for ink and paper you end up spending about the same amount!
Hi, I'm actually a graphic artisit too. I work for my family's screen printing business during the day. We do printing on glassware, mugs, and other give-away type stuff. If anyone is ever interested in getting say, beer glasses with your mini or the club's logo just let me know!

The best way to have WNY MINI swag is to set up a Cafe Express account.
They will custom make items as needed elimanating the need to order items in bulk and having a bunch of stuff around.
SOMC has been doing this for a while now and it works out quite well.
One of the benefits is that logos and pictures can be changed as often as needed. Even making items that are custom to the individual members. Smileee has appeared SOMC mugs, bumper stickers, and a sweat shirt.
T shirts will definitely come from Craig, who is doing the logo, because his T shirt & printing quality is excellent, prices are great, and he's a Mini owner. Could be worth doing a CafePress account for other stuff, though I've heard mixed reviews on their T shirt quality. They do have things like clocks & messenger bags, so the variety is pretty extensive.
