This is my first post, but thought I would get right down to business... I have a set of 4 "well-used" R99 wheels that I just took off my '03 R53. They came on the car when I bought it a couple of years ago. They are the silver painted versions, though the clearcoat and paint is peeling pretty badly in several spots. There is also a lot of curb rash. They look great from maybe 20 feet... maybe 25... The tires mounted on them are 205/45 R17 Rotalla F107 with not much tread left maybe 4/32".
So, they're in pretty rough shape, but could probably be reconditioned. Or just leave as is and use at the track? I absolutely love the look, but I just picked up a set of pristine 15s that are more my speed.

Here are several pics. I tried to show the typical shape of the peeling paint in the close ups. This is after a quick cleaning, though there's some stubborn grime in there that I haven't worked too hard at. The penny is in the tire with the most tread left.

Wow, a lot of refinishing is needed. I'm willing to bid, but not close $350. It's going to take some good money to get them back to par. Contact me at the email above if no one is willing.

I was going to say "Make me an offer" originally - really, I'm open for anything. I figured someone might really want them and be willing to put in the time to recondition.
Even then, it's above what they're worth on the street after refinishing them, not knowing if they are 'true' or not. Hmm. Tempting, just because they are nice looking BBS wheels, but still have the possibility that PepperMINI will be angry with me for buying more car parts I don't need....
