Hey Everyone, I recently got a ticket for having my inspection over due, and my appointment to get it inspected was the next day (my car is inspected now). My court date is on Saturday, and I was looking on the ticket and MINI is spelled MNNI. has anyone else gotten a ticket and Mini has been spelled like that? would it be enough to have the ticket thrown out, because of some formality or something? Thanks!

I think that is the way MINI was spelled on many states' vehicle registrations. It's not a typo- that's the way it comes up in the computer. I think your best chance is to bring your proof of inspection, and maybe they will throw it out on that basis.
show up early and ask to speak to the DA or court clerk. With proof that you went the next day they usually dismiss. Especially if you already had it scheduled. Just don't surprise the judge when called. Been there a couple of times with collector cars, ticketed on the way to the NYS inspection appointment. Last time judge laughed as the inspection was done 23 minutes after the ticket was written.
