So sorry to hear that, Laurie! Yeowch! Can we sign your cast? At least you won't be missing the really nice driving weather, but that's not much consolation right now. I hope you are up & about soon!

Thanks to everyone for the support.

Laurie is doing fine. Rest and good drugs are helping her to mend.

Her biggest problem is getting around. The upstairs are off limits until she masters her crutches. Eek!

As for a cast signing why not (sounds like a reason to have a party). Visitors and phone calls are welcome.

Ouch.. it seems there's a rash of leg problems going around... last month one of my brother in laws broke his foot.. and about a week later, my other brother in law broke his leg in two places. The one with the broken leg had to get pins. Ouch...
