Freezing window anyone?

I read the post on the freezing door handle, wonder if this is the same as the frrezig window???  Basically, when I open my door, the window doesn't lower that small bit, so when I close my door, it won't shut.  I don't always notice and then the window slams against the door.  Actually, the first time it ever happened was the night of the benefit for Dan at Towne.  Ever since, SMASH!!!!  One day the whole window is going to shatter.  Any input?

If you lower your window, and then hold the switch down for a few secons (3 or so), it should 'reset' the window.  It's not to say that it won't happen again, as my passenger side window has that problem from time to time...

My windows freeze pretty regularly (no garage), but I usually rin the heater for a while until it will drop normally.  I haven't had the problem of having them stuck in the up position, so I haven't tried the 'reset' but that is what I've heard will correct it.  If not, it may take a trip to the dealer if they've come off the track a bit.

Finally got up to Towne today, my window was out of alignment, probably from the first time I tried to slam it shut not realizing it was stuck up!  Got my new airbag installed (the emblem coming off looked terrible and would "catch" my sleeve once in a while.)  My girl also had her first oil change, inspection, and tires rotated - I feel like such a responsible Mommy today!  LOL!  :)
