MINI of Rochester Grand Opening Charity Rally and Celebration!!!!

Fellow Motorers,

The time has come to finally open the doors at MINI of Rochester! We will be having a Grand Opening Celebration starting at 6pm on Thursday August 23rd, and you are all invited!!!!!!   Below is the PRELIMINARY PLAN for the evening, so it may be subject to change.

Prior to the Party we will be having a Charity Rally to benefit the Center for Youth. Dorschel Automotive will donate $40.00 to the Center for Youth for every MINI that participates in the rally. There will be 3 stops around Rochester for the Rally where each participating vehicle will get their card stamped with that stops stamp.

Locations:

1.       Start at Pittsford Plaza (meeting spot for MINI drivers)

2.       Center for Youth (905 Monroe Ave 14620) <--- Maybe meet and talk to the kids for a bit

3.       Public Market (280 Union Street 14609) <-- Photo Oportunity

4.       Dairy Queen (new on Jefferson Road) <-- Root Beer Floats!

5.       MINI of Rochester store (3875 W. Henrietta Rd)

       We have a route in mind that we will hand out at the start of the Rally, we advise motorers to stick to that route as the pack will be traveling that way. We have chosen these stops for their convinience and parking space.

       When you pull into MINI of Rochester We will have some prefered parking in front of the dealership for the first of those to arrive and we will have valet parking for the rest. When you arrive at MINI of Rochester you will turn in your completed rally card for a chance to win one of three prizes. We are awaiting final approval on the prizes for the rally before announcing them but I assure you they will be of excellent value.

     The Party will be catered as we will be serving both food and drink. I will have more details about the party as we get closer to the opening.

 

       We are working on putting a link on the MINI of Rochester site with the information to register for the rally and the Grand Opening Party. Keep a watch out on www.MINIofRochester.com as registration information should be up sometime in the first few days of August.

 

    This is all of the information that I have at this time and I will post updates regularly. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please feel free to respond to this post. I'm pumped to see all these Mini lovers coming! haha I thought there was only going to be a few cars there.  I'm driving up from leroy at about 3:45 on the 490, So If anyone wants to hit the road around then I'll be on there

Where exactly is that? I'm not super familiar with the area, Henrietta I know pretty good though
