After heavy storms yesterday, I noticed a pool of water in the middle of 2010 MCS dash and the headliner around my rear view mirror was soaked. I have a sunroof but it seems like the leak is in the windshield seam. The leak messed with my stereo and the controls stopped working. A day later it dried out and my electronics worked again.
Anyone else had this issue??!
Still love my Mini though!

Check the drains on the sun roof. If they are clogged with debris the water looks for the next easy path to drain out thru. Look in the front corners and see if there are drain holes. if so, gently remove any debris you might be able to see. the lines that run off the sunroof are small diameter and can be damaged with any agressive clearing.
Sunroofs leak all the time. the drains are the only barrier between you and a wet seat.

Thanks for the help everyone! I ended up taking it to Towne Mini and turns out my windshield was not OEM and was not fitted correctly. The water was leaking through the faulty seals. Since it was a certified pre-owned, Mini replaced it with a brand new one for free! Hopefully I don't encounter anymore leaks in the future. :)
