My Newest toy

Here are a few pictures of my '12 JCW. Should have at least cleaned the car, and found a location that would set off the car. I apologize and hope that you enjoy them anyway.

Thanks guys. The JCW is my toy, but my "hero" is the green "base" MINI next to it. One night I was driving home on a one way (two lane) winding road, feeling lousy after seeing my dad close to death (he's fine now) in intensive care, when a BMW (sorry cousin) and a Corvette who were racing each other passed me like I was nothing. Something came over me. I ignored my 1st rule of racing: "Save it for the track", and went after them. They hesitated ever so slightly going into a turn, and that's when I passed them both. After that, my 2nd rule of racing kicked in: "What's behind me, is not important." I concentrated only on the precision of my driving for the next 10 miles, on entry and exit points...each curve taken at the absolute limits of adhesion. On a long straight, my curiosity got the best of me. I guess I expacted them to be right on my tail from my "insult" to their prides and joy. Instead, much to my amazement, they were so far back that their headlights had blended into a single beam of light. I'm not going to do that on any road again, but this brought back my racing days of sooo long ago. It felt good. I guess my point is that whether "base", super modified, JCW, new, or vintage, Minis rule! They are all truly special vehicles. I'm proud to be a member of that community.
