Not that there is really much difference, but it is a 2008 MINI Cooper S Convertible . Factory stock (sport package & limited slip differential & JCW strut brace) + O.Z. Ultraleggera wheels & Bridgestone RE11 tires when I race .
If you liked this, the BMW club runs several Autocross events (http://www.gvc-bmwcca.org/calendar/calendar.aspx) as does the Finger Lakes Region SCCA (http://www.flr-scca.com/solo/schedule.html), Western NY Region SCCA (http://www.wny-scca.com/index.php?topic=167.0), Central NY Region SCCA (http://www.cny-scca.com/solo/events.php), Southern NY Region SCCA (http://www.snyr-scca.org/), & Glen Region SCCA (http://www.glen-scca.org/solo/schedule.asp).
MINIs are VERY competitive. It is a LOT of fun and everyone is very friendly and helpful. There are instructors available to ride along and give you hints, but if you can make it to one of the schools, it is very helpful.

The BMW Club is holding an autocross here this weekend (May 26 http://www.gvc-bmwcca.org/events/eventview.aspx?EventID=150). There are quite a few MINIs that run autocross with the BMW club (plus lots of other types of cars). (This event is NOT sponsored by Towne MINI , so you will have to pay to play).
